AAHA Accredited
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is the only organization that accredits nonemergency veterinary hospitals throughout the United States and Canada on a comprehensive list of standards, ranging from pain management and patient care to team training and practice management. Fewer than 5,000 animal hospitals have committed to this voluntary accreditation process, and to maintain this elective accreditation, practices must continue to learn and improve between their evaluations, which take place every three years.
So what does that mean for you and your pet?
AAHA-accredited practices take an individualized approach to care because they understand that every patient is not unique, but a valued member of your family. Your pet’s well-being is their top priority, and these practices strive to provide each animal with the diagnostics and treatments they need while considering the pet’s comfort and stress at each step. From routine checkups to the most challenging moments of pet ownership, these practices are dedicated to providing you with the information, options, and support you need to ensure your pet has a quality life—and so that you can have peace of mind.
