Wellness Plans For Pets

What Is a Pet Wellness Plan?

Preventative care is the keystone to maintaining your pet’s health and wellness.  It is important to have a preventative care plan for your pet that includes routine checkups, up-to-date vaccinations, wellness exams, and flea and tick prevention treatments, whether you’ve just adopted a newborn puppy or a senior kitten.

A Hillsdale Animal Hospital wellness plan works similarly to your regular health insurance plan. We have bundled the annual services your pet needs, discounted the price, and divided the total into 12 monthly payments. Signing up for a wellness plan for your cat or dog is the most worry-free way to keep your pet happy and healthy through every stage of life.

Wellness Plans for Dogs

At Hillsdale Animal Hospital, our veterinarians understand that your dog is your best friend, so you want to keep them as healthy as possible. Our comprehensive wellness plans for dogs include services like:

  • Annual physical wellness exams
  • Core vaccinations and boosters
  • Fecal examinations
  • Heartworm prevention treatments
  • Flea and tick prevention treatments

Hillsdale Animal Hospital knows that not all dogs have the same needs, so we offer different wellness plans for your beloved pet, no matter their age.

Puppy Plus Plan

Puppies require constant care and attention, and so does their health. We design our Puppy Plus Plan to cover the various needs of puppies 8 months old or younger.

Junior Plus Plan

The Junior Plus Plan is ideal for dogs between one and seven years old. During this stage, preventive healthcare is critical as it can protect your dog from potential chronic illness and disease later in life.

Senior Plus Plan

Senior dogs are just as loveable as puppies, but they often have more health concerns. As dogs age, they become more susceptible to complications such as heart disease, arthritis, and cancer.  Our Canine Senior Wellness Plan gives your older furry friend well-rounded health care with additional services to ensure that no health concern goes unnoticed so that your dog lives the longest and fullest life possible.

Feline Plans

Keeping your cat healthy is as important to us as it is to you. Our feline wellness plans offer well-rounded coverage to keep your cat healthy and active.

  • Routine wellness exams
  • Core vaccinations and boosters
  • Fecal examinations
  • Parasite screenings and evaluations
  • Heartworm prevention treatments
  • Flea and tick prevention treatments

Hillsdale Animal Hospital offers three types of plans for your feline friend so they receive care specific to their needs.

Kitten Plus Plan

The Kitten Plus wellness plan is ideal for cats younger than eight months old. Young kittens have a weaker immune system and are more susceptible to certain diseases. The Kitten Plus Plan benefits encourage healthy growth and disease prevention.

Junior Plus Plan

The feline Junior Plus Plan is designed for cats between eight months and 11 years old. Its focus is on keeping your cat active and healthy in their younger years so that they are less likely to develop health problems in their senior years.

Senior Plus Plan

Just like humans, cats become susceptible to more health concerns, such as kidney failure, dental disease, and cancer, as they age. The Senior Plus Plan for cats offers comprehensive services that focus on these unique concerns while helping ensure your cat ages peacefully and pain-free.
